My $ is on @smalls103 referencing recent results, seen as dependent on quality of coaching. Then he will logically connect this to trajectory, especially at the middle weights since Green has been coaching near full-time.

Expect to hear about Hardy's, Antrell's and Ridge's peaking at NCAAs. Then maybe he will go to Tervel for upper weights. He could point out how some on the tOSU boards are lamenting their decline and associating it with Tervel's departure.

Then he could tout greater development based on incoming PfP rankings of recruits. Might mention Smith or Burwick as the rare portals/transfers.

If he mentions Snyder at all, it could be in passing, asserting he has long been one of the best assistants who has just been a bit under the radar. People in wrestling know his value.

I forgot to mention JB's development into arguably the greatest US Men's Freestyler of all time. That can be thrown in counter those who argue against Nebraska's historical performance.

Anyways, why comment to a chat while he has the mic? He's crowd sourcing show content.

Baffles me then that Pinto and Stiles, two legit AA contenders left the second-best program in the country to go to Oregon State and potentially Rutgers. Stiles would clearly have the 149 spot now, and Pinto could have the 174 spot if Minto holds 184 for one more year.

To be fair, when it comes to High School and under, the guy knows his sh*t as well as anyone out there. His problem is he gets WAY too emotionally vested above that and seems to take everything way too personal. As a result, how he presents his arguments often cloud any semblance of substance in those arguments. It may very well be just a "schtick" that he has used since his time at FLO, but his takes at the DI level are often cringeworthy, IMHO...

All joking aside, for as hard as I am on you, I respect what you do about as much as anyone in the game. You wear your passion on your sleeve and seem as genuine as they come. Just because I may disagree with many of your takes, doesn't mean I don't respect you for doing all the hard work necessary to present them.

I would rather have a dozen of you running around spouting off everywhere, even if it often comes off as negative towards teams I like, than a bunch of milquetoast sissies only saying what they think everyone wants to hear...

This is still a tight knit wrestling community. You can be super hard on each other, but, at the same time, respect can and should be given when earned. I get why many Iowa fans on here don't care for the guy. Plenty of the things he has said or done have probably irritated me just as much. Hell, I have called him out on here as hard as anyone ever has...

But, the guy absolutely does bust his azz for the sport and the sport is absolutely better off with him than without him...

If he would’ve just stopped after “Nebraska is the 2nd best team” there wouldn’t be much to argue but since he added “it’s not close” that’s where myself and I’m sure a lot of others disagree.

Or if he added 2 simple words like "this year". The fact that he said program and not "team" implies he is speaking historically.

I don't disagree. However it doesn't grant him blanket immunity from being questioned on what he posts. He doesn't owe anyone an explanation on his criteria for '2nd best and it's not even close' however when you throw sh*t out and don't address criteria you are going to get sh*t right back.

I may need to discuss incentives! I am not a state secret, but I do enjoy enough anonymity to be able to deny involvement when necessary.

But, with that said, I could go for a "reveal party" of sorts. Maybe we work out a deal where if Nebraska places ahead of Iowa next season I have to buy a subscription live on air and proclaim your superiority? That could even incentivize you to get another NIL deal or 2 done to bolster Nebraska before the season starts!
