Where did he transfer to NH from? And didn't he have another big win or wrestle someone highly touted close at Conflict at Carver?

I haven't paid much attention to him but remember something like a year ago that caught my attention?
I remember, remembering as Brands would say.

Whys that?

Schwab has a very close relationship with the coaches in NE Iowa, and I believe he may have been high school teammates with the HC at New Hampton. There are other kids from NH in the room, I believe.

None of this necessarily means anything, but I just have a gut feeling this is what shakes out.

He transferred from Crestwood (Cresco). He wrestled Renteria fairly tough at the Conflict despite giving up some size.

Talked to Mike at AAU State. Great kid who has his stuff together outside of wrestling. I wouldn't rule out NC State. I don't think distance is a factor and it sounds like they're willing to throw some $ his way.

I felt bad for him during that match. Size difference was very evident. I think he scored one td on a slip by Jrent in the 3 period. All other points were escape allowed by Jrent.

I never did hear why Greets didn't wrestle that night? Would've been a much better match!

He was playing football that night. Kid was a freaking beast as a 140 lb safety/linebacker.

Not sure I would feel bad for mike. Kid took a tough match that he knew he would be "undersized" for. He scored 2 takedowns besides a slip. Had a great first period and half of the second until the size difference wore him down. He is tough as they come and it will be interesting to see where he goes.
