How does Ryan negatively recruit? Please don't give me an answer like I heard from a friend of a friend. I am serious about the question he doesn't seem like thentype to do that. The only time i can remember hearing comments was when we lost the bull to you guys.

I think he was talking about Ryan holding wrestlers out to protect their seeding.

This - by process of elimination. He had 3 main finalists - Iowa, PSU and tOSU. Raved about the Brands, respected Cael's recruiting efforts and his pitch, and then mentioned that another top choice went negative and it turned him off - one could infer pretty easily that he was talking about the Buckeyes.

Now, negativity is subjective of course, and he didn't go into details, but he didn't like it. Maybe he has a low threshold for certain types of hard sells. Who knows.

I believe he said this during his long announcement video but it could have been after that.
