In another thread it was written that the Bengals cut Riley Reiff.

That is incorrect. He was one of 10 OL that made the roster.

Roster Breakdown: Bengals Keep Moving To Youth

OFFENSIVE LINE (10)

T Riley Reiff (10), G Xavier Su'a-Filo (8), G Quinton Spain (7), C-G Trey Hopkins (6), T Fred Johnson (3), T Jonah Williams (3), T Isaiah Prince (2), G-T Jackson Carman (R), G-C Trey Hill (R), G-T D'Ante Smith (R).

A lock today maybe, but there is always a chance that the Titans pick up an RB that was cut by another team. I hope not because Sargant has looked good.
Not likely. Sargent is an undrafted free agent who will be cheap to their bottom line and he performed as well as any rb during the preseason. He is a no brainer.

I’m so thrilled for Sargent. Seemed to keep his head ‘down’ and just work hard.

Always appreciated how much effort he gave on the field. I hope he scores some TDs in the reg. season 👍

@EvilMonkeyInTheCloset , here is an update on your soon to be 2022 Super Bowl Champion Minnesota Vikings!

The Vikings signed 14 players to fill their 16-player practice squad. Everson Griffen isn't one of them.

Asked before the team announced the signings whether Griffen would be brought back on the practice squad, coach Mike Zimmer would only say, "We'll see."

Quarterback Jake Browning, cut Tuesday, was not signed to the practice squad either.

Added to the practice squad so far were:

running back Ameer Abdullah, last year's kickoff returner;

guard Dakota Dozier, a 16-game starter last year;

offensive tackle Zack Bailey;

fullback Jake Bargas;

linebacker Tuf Borland;

tight end Zach Davidson;

guard Kyle Hinton;

running back A.J. Rose Jr.;

defensive end Kenny Willekes;

safety Myles Dorn;

WR Myron Mitchell

WR Whop Philyor

CB Parry Nickerson

CB Tye Smith.

The Vikings waived defensive end Jalyn Holmes to make room for tight end Ben Ellefson, a North Dakota State product claimed off waivers from the Jaguars.

They'll still probably find space for Griffen, unless something happened behind closed doors that couldn't be worked out.

As for Browning not being signed, that probably means the Vikings are looking to add another QB (a backup) either through the waiver or via a trade.
