* Fabulous effort by the Iowa defense.
* Horrible, horrible play-calling by Iowa, especially in the second half and red zone first half. (Where did all the TEs go? What happened to the QB draw? Was Beathard playing hurt? Why nary a single trick play?)
* Purdue nearly beat #2 MSU in East Lansing, losing by 3
* Indiana is leading #1 Ohio State 10-3 in Bloomington following an 80-yard TD drive by the Hoosiers (Maybe Gameday should have gone there.) Oh, and Ohio State just fumbled...recoverd by ... Indiana. Hoosiers then try a fake punt ... from their own 15 ... and come up a few yards short. Stuff happens. And yet Indiana holds Buckeyes to a mere FG, so the salty Hoosiers still lead, 10-6. (That has a nice ring to it.)
* Love Iowa going for 4th and inches and picking it up from around their own 20.
* Pitt beat Virginia Tech.
* Maybe the Big Ten West isn't so horrible after all.
* On to Homecoming and the Fighting Illini with a clean slate. That's the bottom line.
