Since I totally screwed up the Top 50 Albums List by not reading the thread title closely, here are my 50 albums I’d bring with me to a deserted island. Tried to cover any genre I liked, and any vibe I’m in. I only followed two rules:

1) No repeating artists
2) No greatest hits albums

I saw Death and thought alright! Some good speed metal. Nope, wrong Death. Lol
I thought about Ride the Lightning, the best in the genre, but I’ll get any “metal” urge I have with Motorhead: The best band ever put under that label, by a long shot IMHO.

I recognize fewer than half those artists - and only "know" 3 of the albums (although I've doubtless heard some cuts from many more).

I feel old.
