It's a popular question for tourists and locals alike: Where can I get a good, cheap meal? With a budget of $9 before tax and tip, Cheapism.com looked at reviews on TripAdvisor, Yelp, and UrbanSpoon to find the best cheap restaurants in every state. Limiting search results to the cheapest bracket (the $5-$15 range), we looked for restaurants with an average 4- or 5-star rating from at least 50 reviewers. We also consulted local newspapers, regionally-focused magazines, and popular websites. Some of our picks are local institutions that have served generations of customers, while others are up and comers that recently opened their doors

I think being the list maker for MSNBC must be an awesomely easy job.

Step 1: Come up with an idea, top 50 rub-and-tug massage parlors in every state, for example.

Step 3: Google the largest city in every state to find one place that fits your subject.

Step 4: Write up simplistic and generic entry: IOWA - Asian Massage is the DSM metro area's favorite fetish stop for a quick back rub with Happy Ending.

Step 5: Profit?

I wonder how much it pays.
