86kg Ruth vs Taylor - this will likely happen in the qtrs. People have often wondered who would win. Can't wait! I'm going to root for Ruth and predict Taylor. Dake and Gavin on other side of bracket.

Valencia looked like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. Not to mention an absolute psycho.

People are either figuring him out or he's gotten worse. I'm going with option 1. His free shot double is still ridiculously good but that's about it. I have not seen him score in any other way in quite some time. He was a big time Greco stud back in the day which makes it more odd.

The kid needs to join mma or get some therapy before worrying about his wrestling.

I know Green got a bronze world at 70kg, but his route to that was considerably easier than the draws Metcalf had. IIRC, Green lost to the first ranked wrestler he faced (#6?) at Worlds. Right now I'm still a little skeptical Green at 65kg is above Metcalf or Stieber.

Striebler (Have we learned nothing?) looked really sharp on his feet...pretty much owned Pico. Pico doesn't have much of an arsenal except for the snaps and that snatch single he has developed. He will continue to improve so I wouldn't count him out. Metcalf is going to have to bull Streibler...he is the second one to worry about because Green is that athletic shoot from the outside kind of guy...kind of like Oliver but quicker and stronger. Plus, training with JB will only help him.

I'd say so. To be honest, I just don't think Ed has the passion one has to have to being doing this year in and out. Think he should go MMA full time and start knocking heads.

Interesting match though, there was a split second flurry that went to a challenge and it all went Kennedy's way. Not sure it happen that way in a rematch, but Kennedy's definitely in the mix.
