Sensitive over there. They can come over to our free board and post all kinds of bullshit and you go over there and say more than Hi and they ban you. F*** them.
Is our fan base much different? To an outsider, probably not. Other than a lot more people attend their games.

Yeah, they take football really seriously at Nebraska and I guess that extends to the board.

Give it up. The fans spoke after 5 crap years. The coaches are doing well at regaining the commitment from the fans (CJB, ballsy calls, and of course winning). Hell after the past 5 years, I'd just take CJB and ballsy calls.
I got into an argument with a mod, proved him wrong, and he banned me. I've been to a lot of boards (with several different screen names) and have never run into more immature, thin-skinned mods anywhere. Typical Nebby fan.
I'm curious what the appeal is of visiting a Nebraska "discussion" board, anyway. From the "contributions" the majority of their fans have made to this one, at least the ones that I've read, there is next to nothing of any real substance, literary value, or sound logic evidenced in any of their posts, so what makes anyone believe their own boards would not be more of the same if not worse?
I'm guessing their football "discussion" board is a lot like the flurry of intellectual discourse one finds in a small-town watering hole on a Friday night after a varsity football game where a collection of "has-beens" still decked out in their varsity letter jackets from 30 years ago gathers to reminisce about the "Glory Days" Bruce Springsteen once sang about. While the rest of the world moved on, and stone-washed jeans went out of style with Starter jackets, they failed to take notice. Therefore, any difference of opinion expressed--slight, nuanced, or completely contradictory--which threatens their small bubble of delusion, will be treated with utter contempt. And thus, those who have expressed such opinions will be banned accordingly.

Right??? I've been banned a few times and our Mods are some of the most level head group around. If you don't get stupid you will get your say.
