So I got home, made some chicken pasta Alfredo, and sat down in front of the tube to find…
The annual congressional charity baseball game. They should probably put “baseball” in quotes, though the r pitcher had some decent breaking stuff. Scalise visited the booth and struck a surprisingly charitable tone. 4-1 r’s, bottom 2. Ia1 guy just reached on an error. Lots of pinch runners

R pinch runner just forced out at third when he went back to second on grounder. Went to the wrong dugout. Joni Ernst now in as pinch runner.

Not actually sure how much more of this I can bear to watch.

AaaaaAnd, pinch runner Ernst doubled off third when failing to tag. I’m not actually ysure that any of these people are even vaguely familiar with americas pastime.

Hilariously, announcer just said Chris Mullen was the defensive star of the game so far for making two catches in consecutive innings.
