This is currently under review by the NCAA:
Obviously the timeline is still yet to come and the recommendation hasn't been finalized (much less voted on or implemented), so this is all if, if, if. But given that Noah Shannon didn't bet on his own team, and that the timeline for voting goes to the bye week, IF this is approved as written and IF the NCAA keeps the guidance that changes can be applied retroactively, it's exactly the lifeline needed for Noah Shannon salvaging something for his sixth and final year in a Hawkeye uniform.
Again, this is a draft consideration and the timetable is several weeks out, so it'll be a long while before any Noah-specific good news comes out of Iowa City. But the situation just got a whole lot better than a few weeks ago when the NCAA told Iowa Noah's appeal was denied and the decision was final.
