Exchanged some messages with A.J. tonight after his visit last night.
He says the visit was awesome and he said he always enjoys himself when he gets to visit Iowa City. Game was awesome and thought it was a great way to win a game.
He said it was nice meeting some of the other recruits, particularly guys like Juan Harris, that are in the 2017 class and get to know them better. Said they seem like nice guys.
He also enjoyed seeing his friend Tyler Cook, who was there on his hoops official visit. They hadn't seen each other in a while and it was good to catch up with him for a while.
I asked him about the reception from the fans, who were chanting his name...He said the fans were amazing. Not many guys come out of the tunnel when they are in high school and hear their name chanted and have fans say they want you at their school.
Did not really talk recruiting with him since nothing has really changed for him. He's focused on the football season ahead. Just worked out that Iowa had a night game they could make it up. Overall a pretty positive visit for A.J.
