What is Beth Goetz’ stance on that as a possibility?
Was Beth the 1 that told AJ no or was that Barta? Cant remember when Beth was hired. But it was the AD that told AJ he wasnt going to be wrestling here
It would have been Beth. Interim AD from Aug 2023, when Barta retired, and officially the AD in Jan 2024
This is going to be one hell of an off season. Again.

I would say the fact that it was announced this way probably makes Iowa less than likely. I would assume, if it were Iowa, that all things would be cleared and ready and Do Not Contact would have been part of it all...
He’s going to be an ongoing work, he pretty much admitted that. Desantos was a constant effort by tnt to keep him in control according to tnt on flo documentary, and it worked. I think he knows if Iowa gives him a chance, and he has a big blow up like the SS, his career is over anywhere. He knows any freestyle goals or even MMA goals will be difficult to achieve, not to mention no free college degree. I actually think Angelo will be a good influence on him. He will be a great partner in the room for 2 years for Ludington also. Pretty sure he already knows the Ferrari’s, saw a picture of him and Angelo working out together in Jersey last year. It definitely has some risk, but not as much as the AJ from the SS.
Has he done anything even remotely inappropriate in the last year? If not, this at the very least shows he can live with expectations of proper behavior. Best case, he has grown up quite a bit. Again, show me a wrestling room full of choir boys and I will show you Iowa State - minus the choir boys, that is.
That ship has sailed, Okie St didn’t want him.
We do have the top high school 97 coming in. Don't know how AJ fits in. Respect him for his work on and off the mat this last year.

Do you really think that A.J. would wrestle at one of his brother's main rivals? That would really suck.
Do you really think the father wouldn't try to get Angelo to wrestle with AJ at another school? More NIL that way. I'm not being a troll by saying that, as it is the other side of the coin you described. I think they would like to be together. One way or another.

I don’t see Angelo leaving regardless. He stayed after they got rid of his brothers the first time, what makes it different this time?
Can't wait for the hat commitment ceremony. I'm hoping he grabs a Penn State hat and puts it on, only to take it off and underneath that Penn State hat is an Iowa hat.
His post says he has two to three years of eligibility left. So does that mean he doesn't know if it's 2 years or 3 years? And how does all this affect Ludington? I could see somebody coming in for one year to allow him to redshirt, but I can't believe a guy of that caliber wants to sit for 2 years.
If Kueter is a starting LB in Fall 2026, AJF to HWT would make sense.
