No, you're right. Horrible performance by Stanley.
Neither the Ol or the DL had a good game today. Stanley did have a bad game but so did the rest of the team. Only bright spot was Sargent.
You're wrong. Lines were adequate. QB was horrendous.
I've been saying it since last year . Stanley is an average QB at best. He doesn't see the field well, doesn't make accurate throws and stares down his receivers. He also has a terrible pocket presence.
Nate Stanley = Nate Chandler. A big oaf who is serviceable but will blow 2 games a year he shouldn't. Let's just hope he goes out like Chandler.
I'll just point out that Stanley's lead us to several blowout wins , where he threw for multiple touchdowns and hundreds and hundreds of yards. So he's definitely a decent quarterback who had a bad night. If he wasn't a decent quarterback like you accuse, he wouldn't have those multiple blowout wins
How can you out this in the DL? I mean they looked pretty damn good to me for having to bail out the putrid offense all day.
Stanley lost this game for Iowa. The OL was adequate in my opinion besides some penalties. Stanley missed wide open guys and looked scared/panicked all game. He needed to be pulled. Stanley was like -21 pts tonight for Iowa. Should have been up 14+pts at halftime.
Agreed, Jackson had what, three false starts and he and Render were both beaten a few times.
The fat neighbor kid next door could've thrown a catchable ball to a wide open Hock on the 4th down play. That would've put us up 21-7 and changed the entire dynamic of the game.
