A weather delay? WTF?!!!!!!

According to the NOAA, over the last 20 years, the United States averaged 51 annual lightning strike fatalities, placing it in the second position, just behind floods for deadly weather.[8][9] In the US, between 9% and 10% of those struck die,[10] for an average of 40 to 50 deaths per year (28 in 2008). I seem to remember it happening at Kinnick 5 or so years ago! If you are so brave go out during a lightning event and hold a golf club up in the air! Let me know how it works.

I couldn't stop. I was playing the best round of my life. Ended up sucking like crazy on the last 3 holes so I stopped at 9.

It was Tennessee Tech in 2011. It was pouring rain from late in the 1st quarter onwards. I believe it was 37-0 in the 3rd quarter and it was about a 2 hour delay finishing up in front of about 8000 people (generously).
