The White House announced in April that Naomi Biden, the eldest grandchild of President Biden and first lady Jill Biden, would hold her wedding reception at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Now comes word that the November ceremony will also take place at the White House as well.
“Sooo not sure how best to update but was supposed to do so weeks ago … but we have finally figured out where the ceremony will be … and much to the relief of secret service and with the dogs’ endorsement … we’ll be getting married on the South Lawn! Couldn’t be more excited,” Naomi Biden said in a tweet.
The nuptials will be the first major White House wedding event since President George W. Bush hosted a reception in June 2008 for his daughter Jenna, a month after she married Henry Hager at Bush’s ranch in Texas.
Naomi is the daughter of Hunter Biden. She is engaged to Peter Neal, whom she met in New York.
