Irrespective of whether he starts or not ... he just might end up being my favorite Hawk on the '18 squad! I love the attitude ... I love the accountability ... I love the dedication to the program and his Hawkeye brothers. I always wish all the best for our Hawks ... but I might just be pulling a little extra for Mr. Mends!

I've heard through the grapevine for years about how much the coaches love this young man ... now I totally see why! Go Aaron!
