Aaron Rodgers to Bears

They already had one better:

Won't happen for a couple years as his deadcap is too much-- $51M, $32M, $17M each of the next 3 years. Year 4 (2023) its $3M. What would the Bears trade in 2022 for Rodgers? Considering what they gave up for Mack, I think a few firsts and seconds might do it.

He had a lousy season and the Cubs won the World Series. I'm guessing Bears fans would take it.

Exactly. I’d make the Chapman trade and Jason signing again if you guaranteed another Cubs WS win.

The opportunity to spite the Cards was just gravy.

Think Favre to the Jets deal...one year and then to the Vikings. This kind of thing has been the talk.

I suppose that's possible, but Farve was a special situation as he was pretty injured while he played for NY and that's why he was cut.

Yes, but from what I understand, Rodgers could play one season - 2021 - if traded, and then he would be a FA, and can sign where he wants. I could be wrong, but that seems to be the narrative about Rodgers. Also, he'd have no trouble going to Chicago to stick it to GB if this went forward.
