Aaron White highlights!

It's good to see AW on a team as historically good as Panathinaikos is. They are traditionally a top tier Euro team.

He’s a guy who sometimes get lost in the shuffle when discussing the All-Time greats in Iowa basketball history. He basically single-handedly willed us to the tourney his senior year after a shaky start to the season. Definitely a key contributor in putting us back on the map nationally. I’m happy to see he’s still doing what he loves at a high level!

I kind of forget.... As an underclassman, he was mostly a dunker, but his last year came on strong with the 3 pt shot. Is that correct?

Kind of. His Sr year he shot 35%, 21-59 from 3. His last 8 games he was 12-20. He really just kind of got hot, but shooting 2 or 3 per game.

No. As a Freshman, he flashed really good ability to hit the three and the book on him was that he was going to develop into a true inside out guy with an All-american type trajectory.

His three point shooting hit a brick wall his sophomore and junior years. He had a nice little renaissance at the tail end of his senior year, but his inability to fulfill the promise of that freshman year was always a big disappointment to him and the fans. Just three point shooting-wise, I should add. Aaron had a tremendous four years.

Anyone have a gauge on what kind of money a player like Aaron White can make it Europe? A quick Google search didn't yield much for me.

He shot 27% from 3 as a freshman...

His three point shot is crazy. He doesn't need any arm strength or jump shot, literally just hand and wrist to get the shot off.

Love me some AW. Great Hawks and looks like he is doing very well! He made every shot in that video! (kidding)

So, it looks like he is a shooter/dunker, rather than a low post guy? I realized that Euroball is different.

If he's 6' 9" with those skills and is playing in Euro vs NBA, how is Luka going to get an NBA spot?

Aaron White in transition was a thing of beauty - he brought the best dunks.
