ABC News Democratic Primary Debate thread

O'Malley sounded like he had a backbone in his opening statement.

Also surprised that they are addressing the DNC breach.

I was actually surprised O'Malley switched course like that.

Bernie certainly took the breach head on like he needed to.

ABC iSis debate.

I switched over. I thought the gun debate was very good for Clinton and O'Malley. I do not like Hillary, I've posted that many times, but she certainly used an opening by O'Malley to punch Sanders in the gut over his gun credentials. That is a huge weakness in the Sanders resume.

I must also say that Martha Raddatz is impressing me tonight. I wish she'd get the chance to do a Republican debate, but I am sure Reince Priebus is at home right now scribbling down, "Keep strong woman that asks tough questions off the panel".
It moved a little for me when she gave Sanders the back of her hand when he cried about not getting time to speak, when he'd cried a little earlier about the rules not being followed and other candidates getting time.

Hill is like a bull in a china closet, running right over the reporters. Did OMally note that Glass Steagall was repealed by Clinton? Hill acts like he did, but I thought he pulled his punch.

I think who ever said Hillary is running this show was right. The mods have shut down both Sanders and O'Malley.

She just talked right over him and he shut up.

You're absolutely right about Glass Steagall, but O'Malley didn't use Bill's name. I think it would've been political suicide had he blatantly said her husbands name.

Good idea Hillary let's throw money at the poors and stay in this rigged insurance system instead of going to single payer.

How does 29 million people still not have healthcare? Honestly I thought the ACA required EVERYONE to have healthcare?

Red meat for the audience, and a stark contrast to the Republicans. Make the ACA better versus cut off people with pre-existing conditions and limiting caps that the hugely profitable insurance companies use to drag people out to the curb with.

WTF, dorms aren't fancy and football stadiums don't draw on tax funds, but private donations.

Also if student loan debt is 1.3 Trillion dollars, can't we just forgive those so college grads can start buying houses?

Jumpstart the economy
