you can’t always get what you want!
You make it sound as if the democrats don't do the same thing ALL the time? buildMost americans weren't in favor of back better... so they repackaged it as "inflation reduction act" pushed it through and that's just one example of unpopular policy the left has pushed on us. Both sides do it, its not a R or D thing. There's a reason the left wants to get rid of the filibuster.. its not because most of the country agrees with all their policies.

Where in the phuque did you get this information? What legit poll ever showed these findings? KF.....you look bad here, man......real bad! Complete and utter bullshit. In fact Biden's "Build Back America" idea is probably what got him elected POTUS.
Show me the "poll" where Iowans were demanding the how the system of choosing Iowa judges needed improvement....other than a Iowa Republican Legislative caucus? Show me the poll where Iowans were demanding "election rules reform" because of rampant voter fraud in Iowa elections? The answer is, other than a poll of Republican legislators or a poll of the Iowa Family Leader, you cannot find an unbiased request to "hunker down" on how Iowa chose its judges or ran its elections....but the legislature changed the rules....making both processes MORE political after their changes.

just because most americans are in favor of some level of choice, and not completely pro-life doesn't mean they support socialist green new deal tax and spend policy.

Whew!

Good thing this is a thread entitled "abortion is on the ballot in iowa" and not "socialist tax and spend policy is on the ballot in iowa".

Iowa is gonna vote, personally I think this will backfire because its an issue that ignites the left to go vote when some maybe otherwise would sit this one out, but now there's a reason to make that extra effort to vote.

let's assume BBB was number 2... the gap between 1 and 2 might as well be the grand canyon. You literally won with a corpse who didn't even bother to campaign and barely left his basement. Most voters weren't educated enough on Joe, and BBB, he said he was going to end fossil fuels, that gas prices would go up, etc the vast majority of the people who voted for Joe really just voted ABBT (anybody but trump) or on free college.

“Roe” codified abortion nationally and set a standard that was realistic. What many states are doing today is no way realistic or practical.
I won't disagree. I don't think republicans taking a HARD pro-life no exceptions stance is a winning agenda, we have too many people within even the pro-life movement who aren't down with taking it THAT far.

Well, that doesn't change the facts of what has happened. When you put "whack-jobs" in charge of making laws, what else can you expect but whack-job legislation? And the Republican voters put these whack-jobs in charge.

When your opponent is out sabbotaging himself and his Party......is there a rule saying you must stop him from hurting himself?
Only a fool like Trump could have lost re-election.........and by-golly, he succeeded!

And much like Liz Cheney found out the hard way, if you don't listen to your constituents you will be voted out.

I won't deny the brilliant strategy Joe and the democrats employed, ya'll gave him enough rope to do the job and Trump's fat ass kept falling from every tree branch available.

Doesn't mean Liz was wrong as much as it shows how phuquin' stupid Republican voters are in Wyoming! Al Capone ran "the Syndicate" in Chicago.....does that mean he was the brightest bulb in that room?
Iowa republicans will face a similar fate as Liz if they insist taking a stance that is that unpopular with the people in your own base.

Is that why those states have more people leaving than any others while Florida and Texas are growing?

No actually, the two aren’t remotely connected.

I invite you to do some research as to why GOP influence waned in those states, California in particular they did it to themselves.

In the meantime, lots of women will either die or suffer permanent injury from lack of Standard of Care.

In Texas, a woman who could not get a D&E for a miscarriage was going to have a hysterectomy, because the docs at the hospital weren't trained to perform the procedure, and she had to wait until her condition would become "critical" before they could do anything.

Absolutely NO REASON for this nonsense.
I'm sure you haven't left out any specific facts in the case you describe above and I'm sure the doctors weren't "trained" in that backward state of TX.

I thought we were supposed to blindly trust the experts and follow the science? Doctors are right next to gods. They went to school! They’re experts in EVERYTHING… how dare you question the $cience???!!

'Cept for the kind that become "America's Frontline Doctors" and grift people out of millions for worthless medications, because they can use their position to do it.
