Looks like voters want women along with their family and doctors to be able to make their own decisions.

Montana Legislative Referendum 131

Born-Alive Infants Regulation

The measure would enact a law making any infant “born alive” at any gestational age a legal person, a protection that already exists under a federal law passed 20 years ago. It would criminalize health care providers who do not make every effort to save the life of an infant “born during an attempted abortion” or after labor or C-section. Doctors say they are concerned that the law will limit palliative care for infants who are born but will not survive.

Yep Republicans are probably regretting the dog finally catching the car. Now we will have a lot of these prochoice constitutional amendments on the books protecting people's rights on a state level.

They can work on picking off states with prolife stances. In places they can't pick off, large business and such will choose not to operate there.

If Republicans get power at the federal level they will outlaw it nationally. They've already said they were going to. States rights except when they don't agree with the state.

Every state would yield the same result. The choice is a woman's medical decision. This precludes court or government intervention.

This Supreme Court is on course to be targeted as the most radical and extreme in history, and its decisions will not endure.

More proof the extreme Christian conservatives have more control than they should. Earlier alcohol sales on Sunday passed in Georgia 82-18, yet another example.
