Just finished 1st episode. Pretty depressing.

It’s not easy, but worth getting to the end. It is brilliant in how it shows the impacts both on how our youth can get twisted and also the damage it does to their loved ones left behind to deal in the aftermath. We of the don’t delve into that part of story, unless of course they are horrible parents.

Saw it over the course of 4 nights last week. INCREDIBLE. Acting was great. Love the way they focus on one aspect for the entire one hour show and the single take camera work is a true work of art. Yes, disturbing, but well worth the discomfort it causes.

The school episode was a bit unnerving. I assumed schools in England were less "chaotic" than ones here. I never imagined the term "incel" would be used in that agel level. I figured it was used to describe young men. Not a 12-year-old.

I sent him an email back blasting this guys obviously wrong takes, his snowflakiness and chastising my friend for sending me something like this before he even took the time to take my recommendation and watch the series. It really was inspired by a black adolescent murderer, But in an interview, the writer stated he didn’t want to have the protagonist be black, as it could demonize or cast Englands minority population in a bad light

Just finished it last night. Pretty powerful stuff. Makes me glad we are ensuring our son isn't just in his room alone. The series was very well done and the continues camera work was impressive.
