Talked to my cousin who works for the Vikings and sounds like there have been internal discussions about making a run at Adrian when FA hits next week. They have Brian Robinson at LE who is 31 years old, and whose play declined last year due to logging too many snaps. Adrian is only 27 and should have quite a bit left in the tank. Only issue is going to be his injury history. A team should be able to give him a 1 or 2 year "prove it" deal. Not out of the question that he performs well and could earn a starting spot. Doubt the Vikings deep Robinson beyond 2015 considering they are one of the youngest teams in the league and are moving in a whole new direction under Zimmer and Spielman. Would LOVE to see one of my top 3 favorite Iowa players of all-time join my favorite NFL franchise. Especially as Chad's career winds down...we need more Hawkeyes in purple and gold. I am also selfishly hoping the Vikings draft Scherff at 11 to replace Johnson who was cut!! SKOL VIKINGS!!
