Maybe he can get his big brother to come scrimmage with the guys. That would be kind of fun.

Since I've been watching him Ahron has moved from a very mid level three star on ESPN with a grade of 75 to their highest level of three star with a grade of 79, 1 point below four star. Definitely puts him in like the ESPN top 175.

Recruits rarely move up after omitting to Iowa. This is a big move and it says a lot. A lot of scouts are seeing Ahron play and the consensus is giving Ahron credit for significant improvement.

Now if he can just get that one extra point to get a four star rating, we can get excited about him. Otherwise, who needs him.

Wouldn't that be something considering 3 or 4 months ago, there were folks on this board moaning how this was Fran's worst class, a total bust...

Some still are. Unfair to the kids considering the ranking services haven't looked at Iowa's incoming class for a year.

He would get a little more media attention, always a good thing. He'd have increased value to the team recruiting rankings published by pretty much every recruiting service, and that's a very good thing.

Remember we are competing for the attention of 14-17 year olds. They live on the net. If they're ballers they are reading all those recruiting rankings, especially noticing the programs that seem to be getting the highly ranked recruits. Its all about sales and those stars very much help selling recruits on Iowa. That makes us better, we get more media we improve our recruiting.

I am more excited about Ahron because he's moved so far up. That's a very good sign 'cuz it doesn't happen often with our recruits. That means other people are getting more excited about Ahron-people who know a lot more about Ahron and basketball than me-so I'm a little more excited.

Always interesting to see the new guys. More exciting when they're better known. This is a curious group that isn't very well ranked but they've all shown some potential for much more. So interested more than excited.

I see his 'rank' on Rivals is 141 ...is that at his position or overall?

If at his position that is complete garbage.

If overall, then it needs to be updated into top 100.

Have thought for some time now, that Ahron will surprise.

The younger kids in athletic families, often turn out to be Best.

In a couple years, Ahron will tear it up.
