This appears to be good news. His coach said that the delay was because he wanted to participate in the signing day events that he wouldn't have been able to participate in had he decided Monday. Also said that maybe 10-20 percent of the decision to delay was because he hadn't decided on a school. Hopefully he chooses what's best for him.

Well, he says that the decision to move was 10-20% based on the new offer and the rest about the festivities but really it doesn't contain any good information for Iowa. Alaric liked a recent post that predicted him to Michigan and retweeted something from Nordin who people think is announcing for Michigan too. Basically what I got out of it was, he was going to announce to Michigan either way but he wanted to do it on signing day probably because Michigan wanted him to because they are making such a big deal about signing day.

IMO, the most Alaric may have agreed to do for Michigan is listen to them/see what they have to say. I think he has already expressed [by listening to his coach] how much he likes us/Iowa and has already decided to select the Hawkeyes. I think that we will be happy with his announcement.

I just think there is a lot of circumstantial evidence in this case and I don't think it looks good for Iowa. The timing of everything he has done since yesterday leads me to believe he will pick Michigan.
