Luke just never got the targets this year.
he was hurt for a decent amount of time as well.
A friend to Matt Rhule and should have been the Butkus winner.
Really wish the hawks could have pulled in Koi Perich.
I haven't looked directly at the stats, but it seems like Nick Jackson was screwed.
I wish Phil would have lined him up at DE a time or two to see if an OT could handle his speed.
Just here waiting for the kickers from Debbie and Ohio state to make the all conference special teams....
Honestly, I have no idea he did doink a few, and Zvada was mr. automatic whenever I watched Michigan. he will be 1st team next year.
True, now that I think about it Kim was automatic against us as well….so maybe nothing to see here….
As far as post season honors go, I want to see this to be happy:

Probably the same line of thinking by voters and why Higgins wasn't up for the Butkus Award. B10 voters didn't want 2 Iowa LBs no matter what the stats say. National media doesn't want another Butkus winner from Iowa so soon after Jack C. no matter what the stats say.
I didn't realize how good Zvada was TBH, just looked at it he was 17-18 on the season, 7-7 over 50. I will stand by it all day long that Iowa should have let Stevens kick that ball against ISU.
Meh, there isn't a conspiracy theory here. Higgins was ****ed on the Butkus though.
Pretty solid representation for a 6-3/8-4 team ...just imagine what it would be at 8-1/10-2.
Kinda like Richman getting recognized...sometimes, when you have a good reputation for a position group, voters show a bias.
Looks like a lot of players had good reputations in their position groups and enjoyed the resultant bias. They had 18 centers to choose from.
I'm surprised he even got Honorable mention. 20 some catches and zero TD's this season.....
Probably won't get either one. No Butkas for Jay Hig. He was down 60 tackles from last year because the defense actually played way less snaps then last year.
No kidding … any hawk besides KJ, who had big stats vs bad teams, on O list is a joke
