All quiet on the western front (Ames, that is...)

Got up this morning and couldn't hear a peep from the loud-mouths over at Ames. I guess not all of them have made it back yet since some said they'd walk back if Iowa beat them.

And they said they planned to "beat Iowa bad." And that they had some surprises ready for the crowd, and yada yada yada.

Well, it may be quiet in Ames today, but they should take solace in this: They'll always have Omaha.

Getting beat last night might have seemed bad to them at this time. But getting beat by freshmen and a soph walkon has to make the future downright scary to them!
