The Warren piece in another thread has me posting.
Okay, fine, she failed because of sexism, or that one failed at something else because of racism, or homophobia, or or or....
I could accept this if I believed someone, somewhere, was keeping track of all this, and had a methodology to identify the moment when it can be said, "Okay, we just crossed a line. There is now enough prove-able progress that we no longer get to cite sex or race or sexual preference prima facia as the reason something bad happened to someone".
But no one is keeping track of and ruling on all of this, is there? How are we going to know when a woman or a minority or a homosexual or or or was just not right for whatever, and the failure was not the result of their classification? How do we know we are not already there?
