All things 2020 offseason baseball

I thought I'd start a catch-all thread before the season opens in February.

Sad to see Jake leave so quickly but glad he now will get a real paycheck. His replacement will be a familiar name.

Interesting development. Thanks for sharing. It is amazing the number of assistants that Heller has had who have gone on to full-time gigs with other schools and/or professional baseball. Whatever Heller is doing is something other programs want to tap into.

It really is a good sign, though it certainly adds to Heller's workload. Yacinich is someone you'd love to bring back once he get some full-time experience.

the thing that is most intriguing to me is that we have 39 guys on roster. I think that has to get down to 35 for season. Can we count injured guys in the 4 that need to be removed? What about McCaffrey until hoops is done?

McCaffery will count against the 35 man roster. I'm not sure how redshirts factor in...maybe @non-poster can weigh in.
