So last night I went to caps rangers. Great entertaining game. 2 ovi goals, shesterkin giving up 5 yet standing on his head, mcilrath bloodying and taking down rempe. Met Alan May (1300 career pms) at intermission. Early in the game I silenced rangers fans by starting a let’s go dodgers chant.

But the highlight was the play that didn’t finish. Alexis protas skates stickless on the pk for a good 45 seconds, covering both halves of the ice. Puck comes out of the zone, he outraces Adam fox to it, takes a stick off the bench on the fly, and gets a breakaway against Igor.

That was the funnest game I've watched all year. I'm jealous that you were there. Shesterkin is a fricken stud. That game coulda been 8 to 3 without him. There were some loud "Igor" chants. Musta been a lot of Rangers fans in the building. I was really hoping for a hat trick from Ovi. He had a few chances.

That chance on the fly was awesome like you said. Grabbing the stick from the bench and kicking the puck to himself was impressive.

Lots of rags fans but all well behaved. Most fun I’ve had at a game in a while.

My son was a goalie so I have great admiration for Igor though I am a caps fan.
