Heard a rumor about all gold uniforms with a black helmet. For the Penn State game I think.

It may take a while for eyes to adjust. maybe like. I am sure it is due to custom helmets costing $1k each, but I think a gold helmet would look better with these.
Penn State is a night game. I think they will look great under the lights. The gold face mask looks great.

All gold is hard to pull off, and banana peels are NOT something we want back.
Good concept, poor execution, but they're not the ugliest things Iowa has ever worn.

Like the Uni's for the most part, but the banana peels.............Give me a couple beers and they might grow on me.
Our alternates are always pretty mild. But these uniforms are off-the-wall kooky.

Seriously, as someone who at 13 went to watch Sedrick Shaw run rampant on the Spartans in East Lansing in 1995, and fondly remembers the Sun Bowl against Pac 10 co-champs Washington, I have a soft spot for the Hawk wings.

Is there a Vegas line on the Iowa-PSU game yet? Likely night game, alternate unis, black and gold spirit game...Iowa is going to obliterate Penn State. Might have to fly back for this one.
