Fullback next year, please. The other teams LBs would quit after about 5 lead iso plays. He wouldn’t have to think. Just run straight ahead and hit any and everything that moves.

I am certain many people wont agree with a position change but Amani is an absolute physical force with good speed and if he was playing out od the FB position I doubt any other FB would see the field. Let him head to the hole and take out anyone in the way. If he can carry the ball and catch you have an all B1G performer.
At FB he doesnt have to worry about reading a whole lot of what is going on and he can expand full energy as they dont use the FB on every down.

Why do you say that? Have you ever seen him block? You have to be under control at FB and make reads just like you do at LB. The things he is struggling with will cause him problems at any position.
How's the walleye fishing this fall with all the rivers and lakes levels up a lot?

So you think we should move our returning sack leader, 3rd team all-conference, pre-season all-conference, and one of the conferences leading pass rushing DE's to DT on passing downs to play a guy you have NEVER even seen rush a passer before? Makes perfect sense to me, lol.
I think the coaches know what they are doing.
Now there may be a REMOTE chance that they will think about having him (Jones) play Hesse's roll on passing downs next year. Someone who can rush if need be, or just hawk the QB to keep him in the pocket so our 2 big time sack masters at DE can tee off on the QB.

Exactly because I think Nelson can be just as effective Rushing the passer from the inside as he is from the outside. Jones being a Linebacker with more speed could be an excellent speed rusher off the edge. Jones of course would need to maintain control. Nelson would perform just like Hesse does now when they rush four DE’s
