America would be better off getting rid of every elected official at all levels of govt and just have a periodic lottery to replace them. Kind of like Jury Duty but for running the govt., it really can't get any worse than the childish politicians we have seen in place these past 6 years (albiet the Democrat lunatics are better than the Republican lunatics).
No we'd be better off if people actually gave 2 shits about our Democracy and all levels of it over their sports teams, shopping coffee etc. And the ending of Bullshit proganda like Fox.

The democracy doesn't care about us. Our democracy has been hijacked by the Republican and Democrat party, until we have candidates that are not attached to either party we will continue down this path. Its stupid, America is stupid, politics has poisoned the well of democracy. We need to kill the Republican and Democrat party and then at that point we can begin to move forward again. Unfortunately there is still quite a bit of time left on the clock before that will happen.
This is what the decline looks like, go get what you can, there is still an amazing life to be had for those who are willing to put the work in.
He’s not on the ballot this election. Even if the R’s win the house and senate Joe is still the President. Ergo democracy doesn’t “end”.
We The People have the power still. When 50% vote for President, 10% vote for local elections you are faced with what we are now.

One side keeps nominating people who deny the previous election's results and have essentially promised to gum up the works if their preferred candidate does not win.
There wasn't hundreds of court cases, attempts at seating fake electors, agreements by members of both houses to contest election results (House members challenged but found no senators to back them) and an insurrection at the capitol after the 2016 election. At worst you could say that Hilary Clinton was a bit of a sore loser. But she didn't try to overturn democracy because she didn't win.
In some ways I'd like to vote for some Republicans because I find myself increasingly at odds with Dems over social issues. But Republicans keep showing they are willing to meddle with elections rules, claim fraud every time they lose (but never when they win even when those wins and losses are on the same ballots.), sue over 100 times and have nearly all of them dismissed, and then finally when all pseudo legal avenues for stealing the election have expired engage in mob violence at the capitol.
