Not surprisingly Gus's voted #1...chicken, fries, collard greens.

I was a block from Gus' in Little Rock last week and didn't go. The kids wanted pizza. We did hit the AQ Chicken House in Springdale. It was excellent. If Tropical Storm Bill hadn't been pounding away at the Midsouth we would have hit the Monte Ne Inn in Fayetteville. To top it off I was going to hit Stroud's on the way back to Iowa City to hit a chicken trifecta while on vacation.

You missed a culinary experience...nothing better than Gus's. What I love is they bring out a plate of white bread with their chicken.

I've never had Strouds so I can't make a judgment...but take my word there is a reason Gus's is #1.

Babe's is number 6!!!! Great chicken, fantastic sides, and only 5 minutes away!!!
