Ammunition Vending Machines Appear in Grocery Stores

This just screams "Quentin Tarantino movie", where the mass-shooter buys up all the ammo he needs just before his massacre....
You'd think grocery stores wouldn't welcome this. It allows customers to go shoot their own food instead of buying it.
Healthcare? Nah.
Infrastructure? Nah.
Border bill? Nah.

Is this any different to walking up to a counter and buying ammo? I guess I don't understand, is there normally a limit to how much you can buy. I've never bought a bullet in my life so I don't know how this all works.
