Leaving for home after a month in the Valley, this weekend. One complication… Weather in the mountains may require a more “southern” route back to Iowa…. Which means a trip home via Las Cruces… a school I once attended back in my youth. I haven’t been back in 55 years…but I-10 passes right next to the university golf course. I’ll probably stop by and pick up a score card.
Been a good month here in the desert…Water (or the lack of it) seems to be the 800 lb. Gorilla no one wants to talk about. Man in all his brilliance..has not figured out that deserts don’t have much water to offer.
