Andrew Harrison Oops!

why do black people call other black people the "N" word? i see it all the time. and why would Harrison call Frank, a very white person, the "N" word?

I just don't get it. People want the "N" word to go away yet black people simply won't let it go away.

If it was the other way around and Kaminsky said that about him, this would make national news and the race card would be pulled out.

03 you are 100% correcto, the liberal media would have jumped all over that, it's sickening. When some blacks beat the hell out of a white guy on a subway for no reason I think in new york you don't hear a damn thing about that, it happens all the time. This country is f ed up.

agree 100 percent and CNN would have 24/7 coverage of it leading into Monday night's game

That might cost Andrew some spots in the draft. Less Money! Hate to toss out the nuclear bomb of punishment but just saying what I think. Teams don't want a guy that could embarrass them.

From what I've read on other sites, it might have been directed at a reporter...so who knows

Just so I'm understanding this correctly. Reporter brings up Frank K. And Harrison calls Frank the N word? I have a hard time hearing it on my phone.

its very clear; he says "F that N...."

In another way, Harrison thinks Frank is a brotha, that's just respect.... The national news would have been more shock if he said Whitey (not Aaron) or honkey.... Which would you prefer?

Wait. They were in Indiana. Was that an expression of religious freedom? I'm all confused about what the kids are calling each other or doing these days.

Could be Frank is all like, "Bring the carrot paleface!", or something else I don't understand.

Can we get an interpreter?

Maybe Andrew is just trying to say that Frank is pretty fly for a white guy?

No, what's F'd up is when people try to turn everything into a political issue.

Either way whom ever it was directed to was way out of line. Sadly with our culture today it is a huge double standard on who uses the N word and what not. Don't care if male or female or what race just can't say N word like that. Could you imagine if a Wisc player minus Jackson or Hayes used it towards a Kentucky player. They'd be calling for that player to be suspended or kicked off the team.

Exactly.

you can take the brother out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the brother

I loved seeing the white boys take it to Kentucky's hoodlums. According to the Census Bureau, the U.S. is 77% white, 13% black, and 17% Hispanic (can be any race; that's why it totals more than 100%). So forgive my white backside if I get little tired of seeing college basketball and football teams, especially the guys who actually play, that flip those demographics and then some. How is it possible that only blacks can play the games? Iowa wasn't so bad with a bunch of white guys. Gonzaga and BYU were pretty good. And then there's Wisconsin. So apparently white guys can play.

There are about 120 D-1 football teams. Know of ONE starting RB who's white? How is that possible? How about a CB? How is that even mathematically possible?

I see college basketball teams that don't even have a token white guy on the entire roster. The numbers might indicate some blatant bias. Almost 80 percent of the population, but what, maybe 10% of college basketball and football? Sounds like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and the boys better get busy and root out this clear and present case of racism. I AM somebody...even if I AM white. C'mon boys. Where's the affirmative action program for white athletes? But you can omit Wisconsin's basketball team. They don't need your help.

Kentucky and their fans represented their college about as poorly as they could. Slapping opposing players in the face, no handshakes after the game, racial slurs, and rioting. If I was a Kentucky alum I'd be ashamed.

It seems to be what some schools Hooray for Ames are willing to put up with veishea as long as they BDJ can get high rankings and maybe UAB

make a long run in the NCAA Tournament.

Well to be fair those are two very different situations. Black people use the n-word like how white people use the word "dude". If a white person calls a black person the n-word then obviously that's racist. But in this case, a black person called a white person the n-word, which means absolutely nothing when used against white people. It's basically like saying "F that dude". Just wanted to clarify that it's pretty different when you look at the context. Harrison is still an idiot for saying it.

Harrison/Kentucky is garbage. Glad to see them done. My championship round on my bracket is 100% correct! Go Badgers!

That thug piece of shit only apologized because he got caught. And to think some of you folks were rooting for the Kentucky gangbangers to win.

Does anyone really expect ESPN to say something negative about their pet gravy-train SEC conference? Ummmmmmm..........NEVER!!!

Seriously, where's Jesse Jackson?! Doesn't he stand for ending racism or is he just there when white people need to be punished?! What a phony if he doesn't publicly come out and shame Harrison.

Except white people don't care about or complain when other races use the word dude describing them. N word black people hate but yet they use it among each other and some, not all, think its ok. But yes Harrison is an idiot for using it

Its the hypocrisy of the public/media reaction that is so disgusting. Kids, especially in emotional moments, say stupid shit.

The "N" word may be impolite and rude but its just a word. We would be a lot better off as a culture if some relatively unimportant (cause college basketball players really don't have a lot of importance to the real world) person's use of impolite language was not a national news story.

But, as long as the liberal hate machine, black grievance industry and the nattering nabobs of political correctness force their speech codes on everybody else, while themselves routinely using the most offensive and vicious language, the "everybody" else, a will be outraged by the hypocrisy. Hence this dumb ass kid becomes an above the fold (so to speak) headline on Drudge and Real Clear.

This +...1. If all had the same freedom of speech and political correctness did not rule this would be a non issue.
