The position has been filled per the article I read. Don't recall the name, but he's been covering the scene for ~1 year. Andy spoke well of his replacement (of course, what would you expect him to say). From a selfish standpoint as it relates to all things wrestling in Iowa, this is sad news (I think - Ha!). Good for Andy Hamilton though, he does a great job.
Interesting to see who takes over his "old" gig. Has it been filled yet to anyone's knowledge?
Thanks. Figured they might have someone waiting in the wings (hopefully he knows a bit about wrestling! Ha!).The position has been filled per the article I read. When flo came out with flo arena I thought track may be on their way out. I heard yesterday that they were purchased by cbs sports. They are only going to get better
Track needs some help. God's honest truth, yesterday I got fed up with the commercials every minute and almost went to their Gold function. But as I was signing up, they said the price was $50. $50 per month, year, day?
Track will only get better, now that they're owned by Comcast. (Sticks fork in eye.)They were purchased by NBC Sports.
Flo Arena doesn't compete with Track. Track will manage entire wrestlers, teams and seasons. Flo doesn't offer this service.
If you pay the $50 you still get the commercials. Just more time in between. I didn't do it, but a buddy of mine did. Thankfully for them they have the juice with the wrestling federations, as far as the consumer...SMHTrack needs some help. I pay the $50 every year. Not sure what it gets me, but I honestly figure I use their site enough (and more so portions that don't have pop-up ads) that I figure they deserve my donation. If you pay the $50 you still get the commercials.
