Assuming we even play the football season, have you seen our schedule? Now compare it to Wisconsin's.
You can't help but be excited for basketball. Clearly this is the best team Iowa has put together in decades. Dream big, win big. The sky is the limit.

If we have a season, Luka has a great chance of leading Iowa to:
* a B1G title (42 year drought)
* a Final Four (41 year drought)
* a National championship (never been done)
* a new Iowa career scoring leader (Roy Marble has held that distinction for 32 years)
and he has a chance of permanently having his jersey hung from the arena's rafters.

I have lived in the KC area for the past 25 years. My wife went to KU and is a fan. She is pretty decent, but most fans are insufferable.
I'll take your word on your wife's disposition,.. but yes, most KU fans that I've encountered have been intolerable...
