I know most of you have just been intoduced to the high school wrestlers from flow or following yourself.

My original plan was to point out the future of Iowa wrestling through our youngsters. We all know Cullan, but I think we are coming back with big time wrestling clubs Sebolt, EIWC, dc elite and I guess elite takedown. We have good clubs in the Waterloo, Wavery and Denver working together at UNI or arch others schools, but we're losing our main guy from UNI David Bonin to Ankeny. Can't blame him. Other UNI wrestlers are stepping up to fill the position and the club and other clubs will get us back to getting wrestlers from our own backyard soon. The dog days are over from the loss of Marty Dickey and the Wahawk wrestling club. The future is bright in the Cedar Valley and all around Iowa. Exciting times here. This is David's private club, but Cruse Aarhus is there too. The kids loved Bonin as a coach, he gave Taylor a good match and is a great technician. He's a truly is great human from Louisiana, I don't know how he acquired his skills in that state. If you showed any sort of bad sportsmanship it got ugly. True respect for the sport and southern manners.

Then there is Cruse, the kids know when he's running it they're are in for a night of hell. I'll just miss the "good cop, bad cop" practices.

Yes, I talk to them frequently. Marty started the first major wrestling club in Iowa and we should make an award for him. He was so ahead of is time in training, which he probably learned from watching gable growing up together. I was talking to him about circuit training with my kids and he threw out his suggestions. Holy hell, I wish he was still coaching. Pennsylvania would have competition.
