March 29, 2023 – Iowa junior guard Caitlin Clark pulled in yet another national honor on Friday, earning the 2023 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award as the nation’s outstanding women’s college basketball player, it was announced by the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) during its annual awards brunch at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas, site of the 2023 NCAA Women’s Final Four.

Well I would think that the Lieberman for best point guard would be a formality right? I mean 27 pts per game and she's led the nation in assists the last TWO years. In case anyone hasn't noticed as the stakes have gotten higher in the postseason she's raised her asst/game by almost 1.5 asst/game, and has raised her average asst/gm by almost a full asst since the last week of conference play. Thats crazy to push the whole years average after 30 games.
