One of the other articles I read provided more info on this fine, upstanding citizen. He is a felon, convicted of securities fraud that involved swindling some $20 million from investors. He served something like 7 or 8 years of a 12 year sentence and got out in the early stages of covid.
He is paying $400 a month in restitution to his victims. 😀 No big surprise that he's a trumpy.
He was also accused of voting himself in an election, despite having not paid full restitution - pretty much the same crime that resulted in almost all of the arrests brought on by Desanus' election crime police force - but the local authorities in ultra-MAGA Villages felt they could not pursue the case because they couldn't prove that he broke the law intentionally.

So fraud actually does happen? I thought it didn't happen.

If we could somehow match voter records in FL against those in NY, NJ, and CT, I'm guessing we'd find a lot of people voting in 2 states.

Correct. ERIC was a program that had 33 states participating in a program that helped them compare voter registration lists. Over the past year, 8 mostly Republican-controlled states dropped out (including FL and Iowa).

I’ve never said there was no voter fraud.

However, this is not a good example for your argument as there was no voter fraud here - the system intercepted the fraudulent ballot and it was never counted.

Yup, ERIC as another poster mentioned. Republicans don’t like it because it’s actually quite useful and wouldn’t allow them to claim rampant fraud.
