I hate to say this, but 15 year old me would have. In fact, I most likely would have fired off a warning shot before we got to the breaking the law part. Present day me would not.

When I was 15 yrs old, I wouldn't have ran to my Mommie, or a Cop and told them
I hit on a teacher. Where were teachers like this when I was in HS?

The big question we have to ask is this. Why is this happening so much today? What is mentally wrong with these teachers? I realize stuff like this has probably always happened, but maybe not at this level? It seems like you're hearing about it ALL the time.

The big question we have to ask is this. Why is this happening so much today? What is mentally wrong with these teachers? I realize stuff like this has probably always happened, but maybe not at this level? It seems like you're hearing about it ALL the time.

The ability for instantaneous communication at all hours of the day and night probably has something to do with this. Back in the day, they would have had to call the house on a landline and ask mommy or daddy whether they could speak to little junior.

Also, plenty of these cases have been "cracked" by recovering incriminating text messages sent to one or both parties. Not likely for that to happen back the in the '70s or '80s.
