Today is the 2nd signing day for football recruits.
With the welcome addition of Mr. Lee this week Iowa has a class of 18 recruits.
Do they have anymore schollys
to give?
If Harbaugh does leave will there be some last minute changes in their class?
Pretty happy with our 18 but it could always get better.
Go Hawks!

Iowa is signing Deshaun Lee today and waiting on decisions from transfers (Hunter Nourzad, Steven Stilianos, maybe Kam Butler eventually).

Michigan signed 22 of their 23 recruits in December, so those 22 can't flip unless they get out of their letter of intent or transfer for those that already enrolled at semester. The one that didn't sign, Kevonte Henry, is expected to flip to Oklahoma or Arizona today.

Blair, always appreciate your participation in these threads when it works. Thank you.

Thanks for the info, Blair.

Not directly related to Iowa, but ISU lost a guy that apparently didn't want to be a part of the 5* culture. Had been committed from last summer but didn't sign in December.

Saw ISU lost a Des Moines Roosevelt rb recruit to UNI the other day the local news. That’s gotta be a kick in the nuts for that to happen. LoL.

Lol where are all the idiot clone fans on here that were chirping about their incoming top 25 class for months on end, just like their team, they blew their wads a little too early.

Is that the kid that was quoted as saying he was committed to ISU but was hoping for a better school that would try to win conference titles?

Apparently Clone fans touting some kicker they got as a 5*.

If Cy Twit was still alive, it's probably called a "big get".

Well that kicker did have offers from Abilene Christian, Army and Nevada.

Who was the rb from Roosevelt and what class was he in ?

Jenkins, actually from DM Lincoln. The ISU offer was as a PWO.

They definitely are struggling since the disappointing 2021 season from a recruiting standpoint.

The battle for Patton/Mota in the 2023 class in regards to head to head with Iowa is a big deal for Campball. He desperately needs to get one of them.

Don't forget about Kai Black as well. I don't think Proctor is really going to consider ISU so I don't consider that as a battle. It is more Iowa v. Blue Bloods. Iowa already won the Borcherding-Johnson and Ben Keuter battles.

Clone fans still "hang their hats" on the Deyo saga. That just reinforces the approach that ISU engages in high risk/high reward recruiting more than KF does.

It will be fascinating to revisit Deyo's career a few years down the toad.
