I believe we had a guy that was pretty green at Left Tackle going into the PSU game. He did a hell of a job.

Other similarities -

Crazy good D Line and Secondary. It'll be there this year. LBs will be fine. Having next zero game experience last year killed us.

Gunslinger QB who can make huge plays.

On the other hand -

This years RBs should be better than the 2009.
We have some talent at WR. It'll be tough to top DJK and McNutt though.

All in all, it all comes down to getting our tackles prepared. Kirk and Brian have done it before. Let's see what happens. Could be a fun year...

So other than the LBs, entire OL, and WRs we're resembling 2009. Give me whatever you're drinking haha. The similarities are striking!!

BTW, Arob and Weg rushed for 1500 yards. I'll believe this year's RBs are better when I see it. None are proven, so that's a HUGE assumption, especially considering the OL.

The one thing we need from 2009 is the luck that team had. Combine that type of luck with this schedule and it will be a nice season.
