This is true. We have never had a generation try so hard to ruin this country. From selfishness, to leadership, to entitlement, this country will suffer until this group quits hoarding all the resources. I don't mean self made people, hard working people - they are the only ones in that generation that appear to still be really working. I'm talking about the aging do nothings that have always enjoyed strength in numbers.

I thought the younger generation was the "entitled" generation. The truth is, these baby boomers are one of the most privileged and entitled generations in history. They have squandered a life of excess, created safety nets and liabilities that will take generations to pay off, have huge pensions to retire on, and raised this so called entitled generation.

Well good thing I own my house, worked through college and paid off my student loans, and already have over 30k saved for retirement. Right now I am on track to retire before 60.

Good for you. So many people sit around and expect things to happen or be taken care of for them. The big difference with the boomers is that they had a lot of these opportunities handed to them on a silver platter, yet they act as though they've worked tirelessly to get where they are.

Get rid of that and most of the other stated issues can be overcome.

I'll be able to retire at 59 1/2 after my 30 years of railroad service. I'm ok with that.
