Anybody see Pixels?

Not really that good, typical Kevin James / Adam Sandler fare. Beginning was cool seeing all the vid games I played while trying to stay one arcade ahead of my parents who didn't think I should spend hours/paper route money in such places.

My 9 year old thought the movie was great and that's all that matters.

I saw it in 3D with the kids, and it was pretty cool. I didn't go into it expecting an emmy winning storyline. A lot of movies are better when you do the 3D thing tho.

my 9 year old wanted to see it. I was expecting a horrible movie. it turned out pretty funny. it is a bad movie, but if you enjoy video games it's an entertaining family movie.

I agree; I would worry about any adult that watched this without kids.

Caveat- 1st 20 minutes or so with Schwinn Sting Rays and Apple Krate bikes, with the early 80's video games was kinda cool.

I guess I should clarify what I wrote. It probably is a good movie for kids. Easy to follow. Lots of action and interesting things on screen. But I was pretty disappointed. Maybe I went in with the wrong expectations, but I expected at least some raunchy humor and cuss words since it was Sandler. Movie is pretty G rated.
