No kids. No regrets.
Love my time with my wife.
Love my time away with friends playing golf or going to football games.

One downside is we are always traveling for Christmas since it’s easier for us to travel then our immediate family.
Overall though I’ll take no kids every time.

The nursing home, that is not the job of your Children.

don’t many cultures expect kids to take care of the parents. I think we might be more unique in the “leave your parents at the nursing home” mentality. I think Germany comes after the children to pay for nursing care for parents if the parent can’t afford it.

not sure what is right, but it’s sad how many people seem abandoned nursing homes.

Used to have no kids, but that changed,... Having kids is better.

But...why is it every time there's a discussion for people without kids, a bunch of parents feel the need to respond?
To provide a counterpoint. It adds spice to the conversation.

No kids, never wanted them and neither does the wife. Got snipped a few years ago. I’m 39 and she’s 36.
