I want to see our man Gilman in Paris and I am pretty sure I am going

My buddy can't make it, I invited my wife, but she said she was going to go see the sites while I went to wrestling, so I told her she was out (we could go another time and see the sites)

I am just interested in wrestling this trip. Looks like FS is on the 25th and 26th of August

Still working on how to get tickets for the event, I went to the website for the arena and was able to translate it to English, but it appeared as if they were only selling all sessions tickets, I am just interested in FS on the 25th and 26th.

Airfare seems reasonable at $870 from Denver, CO

It would be easier to make this happen if some other Hawkeye fans will be there that I can have a beer with

I had an amazing time in Vegas a couple of years ago and would love to make it a tradition to attend

Talk to me Hawks . . . . . .

Here is the latest info for you in regards to Paris tickets/hotels etc.

Tickets

All session tickets are around $380 per person. Single day/session tickets are also available and price varies by day and session, so if you are interested in individual days just let us know which ones and we will quote you a price. All tickets in the USA block are Category 1, which is the best category in the venue.

Venue & Schedule

The event will take place at the AccorHotels Arena on the south end of Paris. The competition schedule is as follows:

Aug. 21&22 – Greco-Roman

Aug. 23&24 – Women’s Freestyle

Aug. 25&26 – Men’s Freestyle

Hotels

We have a couple of options here. We have a VIP hotel, the Pullman Bercy, http://www.pullmanhotels.com/gb/hotel-2192-pullman-paris-centre-bercy/index.shtml, which runs around $300 per night and includes breakfast for 2 people. Attached is a map from the Pullman Bercy to the arena, as you can see it is very close. The athletes will be staying at the Mercure, which you can see is also very close to the venue and the Pullman. The French Federation assigned the rooms at the Mercure for just our athletes and coaches, so we don’t have the ability to put any additional people in that hotel. We also have a Family & Friends hotel which is more moderately priced. Rooms at the VIP hotel can be booked directly with me, and family & friends will book through our travel agent Stephana De La Torre, who can be reached at stephana@theglobalgurus.com.

Full Service VIP Experience – Germany or Montpellier

If you are interested in more than just tickets and hotels, we are also offering full service VIP experiences that include a trip to Germany to visit the Men’s Freestyle team at their acclimation camp site before the start of the World Championships, or a trip to Montpellier, France to visit Women’s Freestyle & Greco-Roman teams at their acclimation camp site. More details on the VIP experience can be found here:https://s3.amazonaws.com/assets.ngi...SAW1716_HospitalityBrochure_FNL_Digital_3.pdf

Thanks, we are happy to help in any way we can. Just let us know if you have any questions.

I'm not going, but I see you're in Colorado --- let me know if you'd like to meet up some time to chat about our common passion of Hawk wrestling, and wrestling in general. I've recently met a few other serious Hawk wrestling fans in Colorado - maybe we could have drinks/dinner some time.

And start up the Colorado HWC chapter while you're at it!

I would love that ! My email is: joenrobh@yahoo.com - feel free to reach out to me, I am in Broomfield

Alright, Mendoza! You have at least one other Hawk fan who's up for starting the Colorado HWC chapter. You guys have some work to do to catch up with DSM, but I have faith! Go to town, gents!
